Son David Humberto born on November 19,1978 First one man show in the USA. at the Museum of Modern Art of Latin America, Washington DC., organized by the prestigious and respected art critic and Museum Director Mr. José Gómez Sicre who knew the work of the artist since 1972 when Mr. Aquino represented Peru at the II Biennial of Coltejer, Medellín and was awarded Acquisition Prize for his work “Homage to Dürer” by the Jury of the Biennial of which Mr. Gómez Sicre was a member. Recent Fulbright Artists in Exchange, Art Gallery of the Institute of International Education, New York. Meets artist Saint Clair Cemín in New York.

Moves studio to 335 East 58 St. Sutton Place, New York. 

Travels to Connecticut to attend the show of Paintings by William Bouguereau, the french realist painter at the Wadsworth Atheneum, Hartford. Extraordinary opportunity to enjoy and carefully study the complete opus of this great master of the human figure.
